Self Drive
Take the Monash Freeway (M1) south-east of Melbourne and follow the directional signs to Phillip Island (allow 90 minutes from the city, please see the map above). After you cross the bridge at San Remo, follow the signs to Cowes. Once in Cowes, follow the main road (Thompson Avenue) to the Esplanade (running parallel to the beach). Turn right on the Esplanade and continue for approximately 250 meters. The Continental Phillip Island is on your right, opposite the beach.
